How would you like to Discover the Hidden Power Within You to Propel Your Life Forward to become the Greater You that you are?

Since the beginning of creation, all living things have used the power of song, music, and rhythm to reach their desired goals, express their needs and wants, and communicate with one another.

I have found that secret gift that modern "man" too often ignores and finds him/herself lost, out of clarity, direction and purpose. My purpose is now to share this tool and knowledge with you.

Before I get ahead of myself here, I would like to share with you part of my story.

I am Bill Dickson, a Baltimore MD singer/songwriter, recording engineer, composer and music instructor.
For over twenty years, I have been performing, composing and teaching music in the mid-Atlantic area. As a native of Ocean City, MD, my youth was spent performing cover tunes in local restaurants and pubs.

I began writing music at the age of 12 and released my first album on cassette tape in 1992. I studied music at Towson University (Then Towson State University) and graduated cum laude' from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. With a Bachelors degree in Philosophy, what was there for me to do but to be a full time musician. I recall playing the board game “The Game of Life” as a boy and to lose one becomes a philosopher. Well I never agreed with that and have found music and philosophy to be a very lucrative and rewarding choice.

In 1993 I opened my business DRAT Productions, Inc. a small 8 track digital recording studio and began recording local bands and musicians. The studio quickly became an area favorite and I produced many fine musicians as well as radio spots and voice over recordings. I also began teaching private guitar, bass and voice lessons with a roster of 15 full time private students, many who became recording artists and performers. In 1996 I released my 13 song CD “In Time”.

This CD propelled me to be voted best Christian Rock artist that year by Music Monthly Magazine. Selling thousands of copies of “In Time”, took me and my band - Bill Dickson & MTT - to a new level gaining recognition from a record label in Minneapolis, MN. We released “In Our World” in 1998 and received distribution in Best Buy and other major retail stores in the US. In 2001, I released “Embracing The Light”.

I recorded this CD in my studio (now 24 tracks Pro Tools) and it was recorded to raise awareness and funding to assist the homeless. Homelessness is a cause that I feel very attached to. My own father was homeless for many years and this CD was cathartic and very personal for me. The CD received nationwide airplay and achieved top 10 ratings in many charts.

In 2002 I began teaching songwriting, keyboard skills and guitar to the children at the Board of Child Care in Baltimore, MD. These children are from broken homes. Many of them from abusive environments and were very excited to learn and explore the treasures of music. In 2005 I took these songwriting courses to the Baltimore County Public Schools as an after school program. Parents and students are overjoyed to see the achievement of the students creating CDs with their own songs.

Songwriting is very powerful and often can be a lucrative career. Composing songs and music beds for commercial products and advertising is rewarding and challenging. In 1996 I wrote the theme song for a minor league baseball team, The Delmarva Shorebirds. This theme song played on T.V. and radio for over 3 years and brought me a great deal of income as a result. I have since written jingles for several retailers and information marketers. Most recently I wrote and produced the music for Dan Kennedy's “The Phenomenon DVD Adventure”.

Songwriting opens one up to a world of unlimited possibilities. From being an outlet for personal thoughts and dreams to a professional career, songwriting can be the perfect vehicle.
